Lymphatic drainage massage therapy uses light pressure and rhythmic movements to encourage lymph drainage, whereas regular massages focus on the muscles. Lymph is the fluid that flows through the lymphatic system, composed of lymph vessels and lymph nodes. Typically, the lymphatic system collects and returns lymph to the heart via circulation.
When the lymphatic system is disrupted, lymph is contained in the arms and legs, leading to swelling.
Lymph fluid contains white blood cells and other cells to build the immune system and fight infection. There are hundreds of lymph nodes throughout the body, but they are mainly concentrated in the neck, armpits, chest, belly, and groin areas.
The lymph does not have a pump; it relies on muscle movement to move fluid. Conditions like surgery or injury can cause the lymph fluid to stagnate and sometimes become thicker.

Cancellation Policy
At Renata’s Organic Skincare we take the time to prepare for your scheduled appointment before your arrival to provide you all with exceptional service. When a client cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another client from being seen. Please give us notice of any changes or cancellations- 24 hours prior to one service scheduled and 48 hours notice for guests scheduled for two or more services. Groups are requested to cancel at least 72 hours before their scheduled date. We understand that life's circumstances sometimes prevent you from keeping your appointments, but if required notification is not given, you will be charged the full amount of your scheduled service for the missed appointment. When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
Arrival Time
Check-in time for new clients is 15 minutes prior to your first appointment. To know and meet your needs, we provide a brief intake form at arrival to fill out. We suggest returning clients arrive ten minutes prior to their appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your service, we will make every effort to accommodate your full service. If other appointments are scheduled immediately after yours, your service will be shortened and you will remain responsible for the full service price.
Cell Phones
To ensure that all guests are able to enjoy a peaceful experience, we kindly ask that electronic devices be turned off or on silent mode upon arrival.Our tented Spa area is intended for quiet time, so we respectfully request that guests refrain from using electronic devices and keep conversation to a minimum while enjoying this amenity.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards may be purchased at Renata’s Organic Skincare&Spa or online. They may be used towards any product or skincare service. Gift Card must be presented at time of purchase/ usage. Lost or stolen Gift Cards cannot be redeemed or replaced. Gift Cards do not expire. All sales are final. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
Return Policy
At Renata’s Organic Skincare, we stand behind our products. We strive to provide the highest quality, most-effective professional skin care products. However, we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out. In order to provide the best possible service, we do accept product returns within 15 days of purchase.
- If your skin did not reacted as expected to new products we need to receive a phone call, text message at 773.517.3512 or email at hello@renatasorganics.com immediately to notify us that you have an adverse reaction. In this case, we will need proof of the reaction - seeing you in person or a photo within 7 days of purchase. We would love to discuss some things when you bring them back to inform our brands about some specific things that happened and for us to learn from that experience as well.
- If it is not doing what you thought it would. Please call, text or email us. Sometimes a slight adjustment in how you are using it is all that is needed. If you decide you still don't like it, then we will arrange a time for you bring it back for an "In Store Credit" that you can use toward any future service or product purchase or full refund.
