Originating from traditional Chinese medicine, cupping therapy has been used for thousands of years to promote healing and provide an alternative treatment for pain relief. In its original form, the fire created a vacuum seal in glass cups to apply negative pressure to various body parts.
Renata’s Organic Skincare offers a more versatile and modernized cupping therapy that utilizes flexible, medical-grade silicone or rubber cups and therapeutic, plant-based massage oils. The squeezable nature of the cups allows various suction depths to create the same vacuum seal used in traditional cupping therapy but enables the cups to be moved once placed. During your massage, the cups can either be left in one spot for a more targeted therapy or glided over the skin to provide a deep massage-like sensation.
Cupping therapy uses negative pressure to summon fresh blood to localized areas, mimicking our bodies’ natural inflammatory response. When this happens, oxygen-rich red blood cells, healing proteins, and white blood cells are pulled into the area to combat inflammation and promote healing.
When scientists reviewed over one hundred studies on cupping therapy, they found evidence that it helped alleviate chronic pain and inflammation (especially of the neck and back) and nerve pain. It’s also important to note that our lymphatic system –– a significant component of our immune system, responsible for filtering out damaged cells, pathogens, and more –– requires a little extra effort to ensure it functions at its best.
Unlike our circulatory system, our lymphatic system is pump-less and is thus dependent on the movement and contraction of our muscles and joints. Cupping therapy supports our immune system by acting as an alternative mechanism to get your lymphatic system moving.

However, we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out. In order to provide the best possible service, we do accept product returns within 15 days of purchase.

Gift Cards may be purchased at Renata’s Organic Skincare&Spa or online. They may be used towards any product or skincare service. Gift Card must be presented at time of purchase/ usage. Lost or stolen Gift Cards cannot be redeemed or replaced. Gift Cards do not expire. All sales are final. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
To ensure that all guests are able to enjoy a peaceful experience, we kindly ask that electronic devices be turned off or on silent mode upon arrival.Our tented Spa area is intended for quiet time, so we respectfully request that guests refrain from using electronic devices and keep conversation to a minimum while enjoying this amenity.
Check-in time for new clients is 15 minutes prior to your first appointment. To know and meet your needs, we provide a brief intake form at arrival to fill out. We suggest returning clients arrive ten minutes prior to their appointment.
If you arrive late for your service, we will make every effort to accommodate your full service. If other appointments are scheduled immediately after yours, your service will be shortened and you will remain responsible for the full service price.
At Renata’s Organic Skincare we take the time to prepare for your scheduled appointment before your arrival to provide you all with exceptional service. When a client cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another client from being seen. Please give us notice of any changes or cancellations- 24 hours prior to one service scheduled and 48 hours notice for guests scheduled for two or more services. Groups are requested to cancel at least 72 hours before their scheduled date. We understand that life's circumstances sometimes prevent you from keeping your appointments, but if required notification is not given, you will be charged the full amount of your scheduled service for the missed appointment. When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
